Salam and hi everyone,

So today I will share 3 halal restaurants here in Hong Kong. 2 in the Hong Kong Island and another one on the mainland. These restaurants are good and on the pricey side. But I highly recommend these places if you ever come to Hong Kong.

Malacca Cafe

First restaurant is of course that serve Malaysian food, Malacca Cafe. This restaurant is hotel cafe, Hotel Jen Hong Kong, so thats why its more on the expensive side of dishes. They serve one of my favourite food in the world, which is Nasi Lemak or Coconut Rice. They did pretty good with this one. Actually all dishes that we tried are pretty good. My friends and I only been here once. We would love to come back soon to try other dishes. Its a bit far from us and a bit pricey for us so we only comes here when we really miss home food. Otherwise we just go home, heh? Haha not really...
Click here if you want to check more details of the restaurant. You can check their menu on there as well.
You need to make a reservation before dining. And, if you are Muslim, make sure you stated that its booking for Halal food because they have separate dining set and Halal menu for us.
You can go there by bus, train or tram. We went there by train. So if you want to take the train, get on the blue line (Island Line) and stop at HKU Station Exit B2 and just walk on 5 minutes to get to the hotel and its on Level 2.

Ma's Restaurant

Next restaurant is called  Ma's Restaurant. They serve Chinese XinJiang food. So, if you want to try Halal Chinese food in Hong Kong I highly recommend this place. I came here multiple times already and each time tried different dishes and they all are good! You will need to spend more in here because you need to order few dishes within different categories. Like we did order chicken/beef, tofu, veggies, soup and the traditional dumplings and goulash.

I already did separate post reviewing this place if you interested to check it out, here.

Last time we went at night and its full house. Then I went there again with another friend for lunch and there are lots of people as well. This place is quite famous even among non-Muslim.

Here are some of my fave dishes:
Sauteed String Beans with chilli (beef)
 Veal Goulash
Szechuan Chicken

This restaurant is a must to try for chinese food in Hong Kong!

Mirch Masala Indian Restaurant

This restaurant located in Causeway Bay. We tried their food for dinner and quite good. They have the traditional dessert, Gulab Jamun, which is what we looking for. Click here to check this restaurant on the OpenRice apps.

There are lots of Mediterranean and Indian restaurants in Hong Kong. We havent tried them all but so far this one is good. Its worth the try!

OK, guys. That's all for now. Let me down below if you have any other Halal restaurant in town that you like that I might not know.. :)

Hope you enjoy this.

Love,
