Salam and hi everyone,

Hows your week so far? Mine just ok, nothing interesting. On today's post I want to share on these view that we saw on our evening walk at Tai Tam Reservoir. On Sunday evening, after lunch, my housemate and I decided that we want to take a walk somewhere outside the city. We just googled it and found this walk path up on the valley or hill I guess. Its rather an easy walk for 2 hours. We went there around 3pm and got back home before 7pm (and we stopped by at McD beforehand for dinner :P)

We went there by bus. From the city, Times Square Causeway Bay, we took small bus num 5 and it was 30mins journey. We stop at Wong Nai Chung Reservoir Park bus stop and from there we need to walk up the hill around 15-20mins to get to the entrance of the walking trail. It has few choices but of course we choose the easiest one hehe
Things that I love about this place are;

1. It has lots of family/barbecue place.
Its very spacious, airy and clean. I'm not sure what you need to make the actual barbecue but it has the grill. Maybe you need charcoal to light it. The place below not far from the parking spot because you will need to carry all the stuff in so here is nearby.

2. Serene and clean environment.
This place just couple kilometres from the main city but its so serene and quite. I would love to live nearby and be able to walk in here everyday morning. There are lots of green nearby and beautiful view. And the air feels different. Cleaner and better.

3. Clean and shades.
Another thing I love about this place that its cleans. Compare to the city, this walk is actually clean. Of course there is garbage here and there but its clean. It was well taking care of. While we walking through the trail, we saw an old man that actually sweeping the falling leaves. Thank you sir, for making this place clean. I'm a bit sick of dirty place hehe
And, there are lots of shades. What I mean is that because there are lots trees and big trees as this basically a jungle, you are not walking under the scorching hot weather. But its actually cloudy on that day. Thank you Lord! Its the best weather, cloudy, breezy and bright enough for a good mini photoshoot hehe

 4. Less people
If you been in HK, you know this place known for its overcrowded people in one place. But here, literally there is no one here. You manage to walk without anyone around at some point. Its so lovely and breathable. City is too crowded that make me fell anxiety and chocked sometimes. This place totally healed me and destress my mind. Would love to come back for another walk and maybe do some mini photoshoot. Flowy gown with this view, what you think?

Highly recommend this place if you like some light hike in your travel itinerary. It will give you different view on HK and like it a bit more than you might already did. At least it did that to me.

On the side note, this place has few washrooms around. A proper, built one. Not the plastic blue washroom. If you know what I mean. So if you have some emergency, you are well covered!

This walk will lead you to the other side of the hill. So we took bus number 14 till Shau Kei Wan city and took the tram back to our home. All and all it cost us 15hkd return on bus and tram fare. Fairly cheap for the beauty view it has to offer.

What are your planning for weekend? I really want to watch The Incredibles movie! Anyone want to go with me? No? OK...
