Week 1 Theme: Self-Love and Self-Reflection

Day 3: Embracing Self-Love: Life Lessons

Life is a remarkable teacher, offering us valuable lessons through the experiences we encounter. These lessons, often gained through challenges, triumphs, and even everyday moments, shape our character and provide us with profound wisdom. In this exploration of life's valuable lessons, we'll delve into the wisdom acquired through experiences, both big and small, and how they contribute to personal growth and a deeper understanding of the world.

  • How are you feeling today?
    • Another neutral day for me. With everything going on in the world, honestly its depressing. I'm just going through daily the best I can without going overboard and being mindful
  • What are you grateful for today?
    • Weather was nice today, sunny with blue sky
    • Had lunch with a colleagues
    • Attend the farewell party
    • Got time to chat with another colleague

One of the most significant lessons life imparts is resilience through adversity. We learn that setbacks and hardships, although challenging, offer opportunities for growth and inner strength. It's through these experiences that we discover our capacity to bounce back, adapt, and persevere. Life's lessons also come from our mistakes and failures. We learn that missteps are opportunities for learning and personal development.
Self-reflection is a lesson that encourages us to pause and examine our experiences, decisions, and emotions. Through introspection, we gain self-awareness and a deeper understanding of our own thoughts and motivations.

I've lived for over 3 decades and there's few things that I wish I can do differently. I can't change the past but I can take the lessons and apply it today and moving forward. One thing that I'll do differently this time is to take time to plan and just do it. Don't even think about either or not I will do it, but just do it. The moment you think about it, its gone. Honestly at the moment I feels like everything went wrong and I don't know where to start to make it right. So, my approach is just do it. Think and calculate about what best I should do and just do it. If I start thinking intensely, I'll get overwhelmed and my mind will go 250km/h which is not good. I need to control my over-thinking thoughts. It's something that I'm working on and trying to look things from different perspective. I'll change my narrative to a more positive one even when things are going south.

So, whats yours?

Love,
Elsa
