If you ever come to Hong Kong, one of its attraction is the nature and view. There are lots of hiking sites that you should try as well as watching sunset and sunrise from different spot. I will say, this spot is one of my fave view and whats even better is that its free.
Make your way a bit earlier so that you will get a good spot. We went there just couple minutes before sunset and there are lots people there. Especially the one with high tech camera gear, ready to capture the view. I guess most of them are taking time lapse because they just put the camera on the tripod and keep filming.
How to get here
This place is actually a mall near the ferry terminal called Harbour City that located in Tsim Tsa Tsui. This mall divided into few sections like the mall, beauty arcade, restaurants and ferry terminal to Macau. So to come here you can use either ferry, train or bus. I will suggest for you to use ferry if you are coming from the island as it will stop right next to the mall. If you taking the train, get on Tsuen Wan Line and stop at Tsim Tsa Tsui station and use exit L5 or L6.
Photoshoot Spots
There are few places for you to take photos here; the mall lookout point, alongside the mall, parking spot on the water, rooftop parking spot and the deck. The parking spot on the water is not on the same building as the mall. As you can see from the photo below its actually parking outside. And, you can see the parking spot from the mall lookout point. The deck will be the best spot for you to watch sunset. But there are no place to sit and its quite small. So you have to maneuver people from your photos and be mindful of your background.

Ocean Terminal Deck
Here are the view from the deck. Its on the same level with the rooftop carpark for the mall. I guess its convenience because then you can take photos at 2 locations next to each other. The photos that has white gate is on the carpark area and the one with the green grass is the deck area.
The weather was actually a bit out cast that day but we still manage to catch on some lights over the sunset. I hope if you ever come to Hong Kong, you will get the chance to visit here and watch the sunset! Thanks for stopping by.
