Today I will start sharing about my trip to Osaka last week. If you follow my Instagram and twitter you will knew already that I take a week off to travel to Kansai, Japan. Its 7 days trip to travel to Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto. As much as I did see, there are still a lot of things and places to visit. I'll def go back there and stay longer hopefully. I will share about my accommodation next and will be link here. But for now lets go to Nara (LonelyPlanet). It took me almost an hour to arrive in Nara as I'm staying in Namba, Osaka for my whole trip. I took Keihan line which I believe is the cheapest but you can just Google map your journey to see which line to take for how much. And I recommend for you to buy ICOCA card which you can use for trains and most bus in Kaisan region.
Nara Park
First place I visit was Nara Park. Its where you can play and give food to the deers. They are wandering around the park and more than happy to eat some biscuits. You will need to buy the pack of biscuit for 150yen. The park was so huge, you just need to walk around and enjoy the view.
Pity that their horns has been cut off. I think its for the visitors safety. They did bite and attack you a bit for food. I guess they are hungry since its in the morning and a lot of tourist just arrive.
Kofuku-ji Temple
Right behind the park, there was the Kofuku-ji Temple.or also known as 5-tier Pagoda. I just wandering around the park and the temple for a minute. There are actually a lot more you can do there and I really want to come back and spend more time here.
Free Viewing point of Nara City from Nara Prefectural Government Office
I met an old man nearby the temple giving me information about Nara as a city and the temple's history. And, he asked if I want to see the city from higher point of view. I said yes so he show me the place. He is a volunteer just having conversation with the tourist. Sorry sir, I forgot what you say your name is... :P It's just 2-3minutes walk from the 5-tier Pagoda temple. You can see there are so many things to see in short little times. I want to come here again!!
You can see the whole city of Nara from the rooftop and its FREE!

I didn't have time to go in and have a look so I just walk around it and snap some pictures.
Todaiji Garden
That's all the time that I have to go around Nara. Next time I'm planning to do some hiking there and maybe even stay in the city. Next I'm off to Kyoto Station to buy bus ticket to the outlet and went to Gion.
Hope you enjoy this.
