How you doing? Its been awhile since I write anything on here. Its one of my monthly goals to start writing again and this going to be the first of many posts I have planned to write.

So, onto todays post I will share some bits and bobs of this place called Capsule Transit in KLIA 2. I stayed here for 7 hours for between my flight KL -> HK from Kota Bharu. They have 3h, 6h and 12h stay pricing. I will say to go directly to the hostel for cheaper price. I booked through Booking.com and paid RM30 more than what they offer walked in. Of course you will have the risk of not having the room but if thats the case then you can just pay to shower RM25 per entry. People who stay here mainly staying only for couple hours and people come and go very frequently so I'll say you will have higher chance of getting the room for walked-in.

They provide towel, toothbrush and toothpaste and a bottle of water. The prayer room just nearby (opposite the entrance) even though its not within the hostel area. There are also locker for big luggage. They provide single room, 3h(RM109), 6h(RM119) and 12h (RM129), couple/queen capsule, 3h(RM218), 6h(RM238) and 12h (RM258) and suite/king size room, 3h(RM248), 6h(RM268) and 12h (RM288) which you can fit in kids or/and maybe 3rd person if you travel backpacking with your girlfriends. They also have locker rental for 3h(15), 6h(RM20), 12h(RM30) and 24h (RM40). So picked one that suite you needs.

On top of that, they have library that I'm not aware of haha... Again I just saw it online and didnt realize they have one. I guess I will check them out when I go there next time.






Pros

Its open 24h. People at the reception are very helpful. There are 3 of them so the check in process is fairly fast. Good size of the place as you can see from the photos above. I stay at lower bunk so I like it very much that I dont need to climb up the stairs with my luggage. They have wake-up call service, which they call to wake you up. Each bunk have its own phone, small aircond, vanity mirror area and plug.

Cons

The washroom and toilet is together means its so small but its manageable. Its just, my HK bathroom is bigger haha And on top of that its mixed washroom. Means men and women did use the same place for shower and do business. And means you need to shower and wear clothes in the bathroom but because its so small there is no really a place to put your stuff. Just saying... This just from what I used last time, because I did saw some photos that they have bigger bathroom area which I'm not sure where that is. And 1 thing is missing is USB plug. I mean I know they have the power plug but its helpful to have just USB plug for phone so I can use the power plug for others.




Overall its good. I will surely comeback here if I had layover more than 6 hours so I can get proper sleep with pillow and bed. Its recommended if you reach here early morning you can pay the room for couple hours to sleep and shower before start the day with public transport since our services is not 24h...
